David aims to provide you with a space that feels safe, non-judgemental, and empathetic. He does this by focusing on developing a trusting, honest, and genuine relationship with you, as he believes that the relationship between you and your therapist is fundamental for progress.
David believes that therapy is a place to gain insight into the emotions, thoughts, and behaviours that are currently within your awareness, as well as discovering the underlying emotions and patterns that you may not be conscious of. He also places great importance on the meaning of the experiences that you have had that make you unique, and supporting you in discovering ways to make your life more meaningful and fulfilling.
