Andy centres his therapeutic orientation around his clients’ intersectional identities, specific contexts and goals. He primarily uses evidence-based cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). A core component of his therapeutic approach is focused on creating and maintaining a safe and compassionate relationship. He believes in the importance of empowering his clients, firstly by collaborating on a goal-oriented treatment plan and then by identifying areas of change.
