Approach to Counselling

Kate’s approach to counselling is rooted in mindfulness-based techniques and informed by a variety of cognitive and behavioral therapies. She helps her clients reconnect with the wisdom in their bodies and uses breathing and relaxation techniques to help her clients cope with their anxiety, reduce stress, and ease depression. She believes that providing relief for distressing mental and physical symptoms are important first steps to reconstructing negative thought patterns and improving her client’s quality of life.
