Chelsie Pilon provides counselling for women, men and teens. You will find her warm and welcoming approach both comforting and supportive. She walks alongside her clients in a deep exploration of their feelings and thought processes in order to help them gain more self-awareness, and develop a greater understanding of what patterns and belief systems are holding them back.
Approach to Counselling
Chelsie Pilon’s approach to counselling is informed by Client-Centered Therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Above all, Chelsie believes that her clients are the experts in their own lives and hold more wisdom about themselves and their experiences than they realize. She empowers them to access this inner knowledge and supports them to make active changes in their lives.
Chelsie is registered and in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
Education and Experience
Chelsie Pilon has a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and has training and experience in crisis intervention. She provides emotional support, crisis intervention and risk assessment to people in varying degrees of emotional distress. She has learned to meet each person’s needs in both short term and longer-term goals. Chelsie is also experienced in helping people who are highly sensitive learn to cope and function in society when the world overwhelms them.
